Customer Service/Order Processor
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on team player with excellent communication skills who can confidently liaise with customers in processing orders and resolving any follow up issues.
You'll be supporting the Business development manager and will be an integral part of the sales department.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.30
Salary range (depending on experience): £21,000 - £24,000
Role Responsibilities;
- Processing all orders received in a timely manner
- Reviewing daily despatch schedule, orders, approvals, samples
- Maintaining accurate customer accounts on the database
- Developing and maintaining great relationships with distributors
- Assisting the accounts team with invoice queries
- Managing multiple inboxes: personal, sales and samples
- Managing the website: new applications, samples, pricing
- Ensuring month end system changes are made in a timely manner
- Responding to customer enquiries effectively via telephone and email
- Quoting customers from our website
- Sending visuals to customers for approval
- Approving order visuals
- Importing and processing sample requests
- Dealing with and resolving customer complaints
- Communicating with internal departments
- Liaising with purchasing to order stock and request updates on lead times for outstanding orders.
- Attending trade shows
Skills & Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working within a similar role
- Excellent telephone manner
- Great communication skills
- Computer skills which include Microsoft office
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a wider team
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Attention to detail
