Finance Payroll Assistant - Hitchin
(Maternity Cover 8 - 12 months)
Salary £22,000 - £23,000 pa DOE
Monday - Friday (8.30am - 17.00pm)
We are currently recruiting for our client based in Hitchin who is looking for a Finance Payroll Assistant to support the finance team,
They are looking for someone who can provide relevant, timely and insightful financial payroll and administrative support.
Main Duties -
- Responsible for the day to day transactional support within the team, ensuring all transactions are completed and up to date,
- Accounts receivable transactions, customer receipts, queries, debtor control
- Bank cash transfers, accurate entry and reconciliation
- Accounts payable, bank payments, statement debtors
- Support monthly management accounts, year end process
- Entering invoices, input process
- Answering phones and dealing with queries
- Supporting payroll
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial procedures, including credit control, cash management
- Excellent IT skills
- Good time management
- Excellent administration skills
