WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Mornings and afternoons Shifts

Shifts:

• Any 5 days out of 7 days
• 06:00 to 14:00 or14:00-22:00
• (will include weekends so must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays)

Rates:

• AM £10.35/h (increasing after 12 weeks and 6 months)
• PM £11.84/h (increasing after 12 weeks and after 6 months)

The Role:

• Picking and Packing customer grocery orders using a voice pick system.
• Decanting and scanning products to go into stock
• Loading and despatching Must be physically fit - some heavy lifting involved Excellent chance of permanent position
• Role involves handling packaged meat and alcohol in a chilled environment (0 - +5 degrees)

Requirements:

• Hard work and passion. You don't need Warehouse experience. Just be focused the job in-hand and we'll teach you the rest
• A positive and flexible attitude. Self-motivated, always looking for the best in every situation.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• Commitment to hit targets
• Ability to work in a target driven environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and able to work to a high level of accuracy whilst working quickly
