Hours of work and pay:? Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4pm, Friday 8.00 - 3.30pm

£10.63 - £12.50ph

Candidate responsibilities:??

The main duties are portering - off-loading and moving materials around campus - including furniture, equipment, materials, stores deliveries, general and specialist lifting operations, as well as relocation of offices, laboratory furniture and equipment.

You will also be required to carry out more general building works such as fitting doors, fixing windows, putting in cement posts, as well as clearing areas and cleaning. You will be required to provide support for other trades within the Maintenance Section and appointed Contractors.

Background & requirements

Previous experience within a similar role is need

Able to lift heavy equipment throughout the day

Basic knowledge of general building work

You MUST have a driving licence and car - please do not apply without this.
