Job Description: Order Pickers (Warehouse Operative)

Shift Times: 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00

Hourly Rate: £12.15 to £12.75 GBP per hour

As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely processing of orders within our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around accurately picking and packing orders to guarantee the prompt delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize warehouse equipment and technology to efficiently pick and pack orders according to set quotas and standards.
• Conduct thorough checks on the quality and quantity of products during the picking process to maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure and risk-free working environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in voice picking within a warehouse setting is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
