Award winning recruitment company Siamo Recruitment are looking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to join our locally based client in Hinckley, on a permanent basis.
- Previous experience in an office environment required
- Previous Packaging or Procurement experience desirable but not essential
- Answering calls and taking customer enquiries via email and telephone.
- Handle new and current enquiries.
- Support with customer services.
- Contributing to the successful day to day operations of the busy office environment.
- Using computer software (training will be provided.) Use of Microsoft Office.
- General administrative functions.
- Supporting procurement from other locations within the business.
- Supporting the Buyers and Procurement Manager.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding of the importance of procurement within a business
- A desire to learn and grow within their role
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage expectations
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business
- A working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
