Position: Truck Body Assembler/Fabricator

Siamo Group are currently recruiting for a leading commercial vehicle bodybuilders business based in Aldridge that requires immediate and long term Truck Body Assembler/Fabricator to join their established and growing workforce, with positions leading to permanent after a successful trial period and great career progression potential.

The company are based in Aldridge, West Midlands and located within 5 miles of the main motorway network.
They operate out of a 130,000 sq ft factory and build on all manufacturers of commercial vehicle chassis cabs, from the small 3.5 tonne car and van manufacturers, all the way up to the heavy truck manufacturers 26 tonne rigids, including everything in-between.
The Role
To construct various components for commercial vehicles out of raw steel and galvanised steel sections. In keeping with accepted principles of good working practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties.
Shifts - 06.30-16:45 Mon - Thurs. Friday is overtime
Pay Rates - £10.00ph experience dependant
Technical Competencies
- Must read and understand technical data and drawings
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to use hand tools
- Drilling of materials with hand drill, Pillar drill and Mag drill
