This fantastic primary school is a thriving and inclusive school in the community that is committed to providing high-quality education to all students. We are looking for an experienced Year 1 teacher to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

As a Year 1 teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop a love of learning and a strong foundation in all subject areas. You will create a nurturing and supportive learning environment where students can thrive.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in all subject areas.

Assess students' progress and provide feedback.

Support students with their learning needs.

Develop students' social and emotional skills.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Work as part of the Year 1 team to develop and implement the school's curriculum.

Contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

At least two years of experience teaching within KS1.

Excellent knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and teaching methods.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience of supporting students with special educational needs and/or disabilities is desirable.
